School-Based Decision Making Council
Burlington Elementary School’s School-Based Decision Making Council (S.B.D.M. Council) is comprised of teachers, parents and the building principal. This council is the decision-making body for Burlington Elementary School establishing policies and standards for our school with the goal of student success. With the exception of the principal, the council members are elected to a one year term.
The S.B.D.M. Council meets the second Thursday of each month at 4:00 pm in the Office Conference Room. Meetings are open to the public (except issues which require Closed Sessions such as personnel decisions.). Parents/Guardians are encouraged to attend.
